Our Story
As a family-owned business, our team at Rapid Pallets takes pride in going above and beyond for our customers.
Where we began
When our owner Francisco Torres started South Central Pallets in Chicago back in 2001, he began with little more than a pick-up truck. But thanks to his high-quality products and outstanding customer service, the company began to thrive.
To accommodate the needs of his growing business, Francisco moved to Blue Island. He rebranded the company to Rapid Pallets, emphasizing the speed with which the company could create and deliver new and custom pallets.
New space and expanded capabilities
In June of 2010, Rapid Pallets expanded again, moving to a 100,000 square foot facility in Bridgeview, Illinois. The facility houses not only a large inventory of pallets, but also an on-site mill, seven tractors, and 150 trailers for distribution. As we expand into other offerings, including mulch and sawdust, we’re excited to continue our partnerships and foster new ones with clients all over the Midwest.
